Christine Payton is a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience, specializing in comprehensive adult patient care. She joined Priority Health Care as an FNP in 2019 after a long career as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Supervisor at University Medical Center and INTERM LSU Hospital.

Payton earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Herzing University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University. She is nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed in Louisiana. Her additional certifications include Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration. In 2018, she was honored with the Louisiana Great 100 Award for her dedication to nursing excellence.
