Priority Health Care is a partner agency with UNITY of Greater New Orleans in helping to provide housing assistance to people experiencing homelessness. Through this partnership we also assist in collecting donations of home and personal hygiene products as well as special food and toy drives to make holidays brighter for those in need. Our collaborative efforts aim to ensure that individuals and families not only have access to safe housing but also receive essential supplies and support during critical times of the year. By working together, we strive to foster a sense of community, dignity, and hope for everyone we serve.

Supporting Survivors Rapid Re-Housing (RRH)
The Supporting Survivors RRH program provides rapid, safe, and stable housing for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking who are experiencing homelessness. Using a trauma-informed, Housing First approach, participants receive rapid re-housing rental assistance and comprehensive supportive services focused on long-term safety and housing stability.
What We Offer:

• Rental Assistance and Housing: Rapid re-housing rental assistance and support with housing search and move-in needs, such as essential furnishings.
• Trauma-Informed Services: Creating a housing stability plan, monthly supportive services delivered where the client lives, and safety planning.
• Connections: Help applying for mainstream benefits like Medicaid and increasing income through employment support and referrals.
• Area Served: Orleans Parish, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner.
• Impact: Serves 60–80 survivor households each year.

Priority Home Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)

The Priority Home PSH program is dedicated to helping chronically homeless individuals and families achieve long-term housing stability and independence. Following a Housing First model, participants live in scattered-site units across the Greater New Orleans area with individual leases.
What We Offer:

• Housing: Permanent supportive housing with individual leases in scattered-site units across the Greater New Orleans area (New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, and Kenner).
• Intensive Support: Ongoing supportive services and case management to strengthen stability.
• Connections: Links to essential services, including mental health counseling, mainstream benefits/resources, and employment supports.
• Impact: Serves 20 households at any given time.
