Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a Twist
Wednesday Mar 10, 2021
Wednesday, March 10th is Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
Instead of its formal TEA Time (Teach, Empower and Advocate) event that was held last year PHC is hosting an informal HIV/AIDS awareness and sexual health education parking lot forum through its Community Outreach unit.
Participants will be provided critical information on sexual health, take-home test kits, swag bags and light snacks to go. The information will focus on awareness, prevention, protection, and medical care for women and girls about HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). Since the awareness day falls on a weekday the event will be held on the prior weekend. We'll keep you posted on further details. Look for more information on our website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
